Are you constantly thinking about how to keep your salon team inspired? I have 3 tips to keep your team motivated and inspired.
1 – Be a leader not a boss – One of the best ways I have found to keep my salon team inspired is leading by example and letting my passion shine through. Let your team see that amazing things can be achieved with hard work and passion.
2 – Be the best version of you – One thing that will really inspire your team is being the best version of yourself. If you show your team that you are positive, kind and caring it will hopefully make them want to be the same. You need to make sure that you’re a good listener and show that you care about what your team wants and needs. One thing you do need to be careful of is not letting your team see your kindness for weakness. You need to show them that even though you are kind, you still want things to be done a certain way as
3 – Focus on building and growing THEM – The final tip I have on keeping your salon team inspired is focus on growing them. You need to remember that the hard work you give out will always come back to you. You need to make your team’s growth and development your reward. You will see that if you focus on your team’s growth, you will also grow with them. They will be able to see that your focus is on the team and that will really inspire them to be the best team they can be.
